M a n u f a c t u r i n g p r o b l e m.

catchup. I am making paint by numbers sets which include the key objects of mod culture, concerning clothes and accessories. There will be 3 boards in each pack, ad ten packs. The packaging will be a white box with a translucent based target on it. At least I hope. I would want to sell them in mod based shops such as "Jump the Gun" or "Lambretta" as they sell extras such as scooter snow globes etc. I think I decided this as after gathering my opinions I realised that there is such a mixed range of knowledge and opinions concerning weather they are admired or not. I decided to keep the mod merchandise within the culture that exists already, perhaps reminding "contemporary mods"(1) of the traditional origin where they came from.

Its a shame I have without knowing slid towards the clothes based side of the culture and have completely disregarded the music scene or even the reason which I chose to investigate mods in the first place, that is to say my main interest in the lifestyle of mods involving classes and influences.

(1) meaning the "indie scene" that there now is including as an example pointy shows and skinny ties in Topman. A documentary from a popular young persons channel stated that "kids aren't afraid to dress smart in everyday places". That is to say, suits arent just for special occasions.

Right, so my relation to 100 was by putting 100 parts into each paint by numbers image. A recent crit questioned this so I changed it to putting 10 canvas boards in each set to make an even stronger relation to 100 by having 10 of them. 10 time 10 equals 100. HOWEVER I am now in a pickle after recently discovering that I know have to make the boards myself, which isn't a problem, the problem is the boxes. I cant fit 10 boards into a pre made box as the depth is too small. i will try the boards as a6 but still, ten boards and a paint set will have to be placed inside hand made boxes. My cost is sky rocketing and I think that this is possible. I hope to go back to 5 hand made canvas boards and make 20 lots of the packs.
