This is American Apparel. i have liked the company for a long while now but have only fairly recently realised how I could be a part of it. Clothes and the theory of clothes involving co-ordination have alway been a fairly large part of my life. In some ways it dominates my life. I can;t sleep the night before unless I know what I am wearing and weather I have appropriate socks for that day. This company believes in this too. I think that the way they have become a middle ground for design and satisfying clothes is wonderful and would love to play a part in it. REcently there have been words of it going under and this makes me sad. I have spent months staring at the internship application form waiting for the right time to submit. Have I left it too late? Their look book is beautiful. I think I would fit in well in it;s design and how to change it even for the best I hope.

JOBS. I have stared at the application from for a placement for a long time. It seems that it is hard to just dip in for a few days to get a feel for the place. It seems quite official but maybe in a good way as they tae it seriously.

What is industry experience?

Recently I have learnt that even thought you might hate it, we should still do it. Its not just about finding out what we do and where we might do it. Its also about what we dont want to do and where we don't want to do it. Where is just as important as what. Just lie my work-try and test.
